Developed in partnership with PDQ, the new hardware is engineered to meet ANSI Grade 1 life-safety standards and provide reliable egress for workers in emergency situations. According to the press release, the SafeAxis™ system is designed for large industrial enclosures commonly found in the maritime and energy sectors. These enclosures, which house critical equipment and controls, require robust and tested panic hardware to ensure the safety of personnel. The new offering from Allegis aims to deliver this level of life-safety assurance.
