Bridge Industries has acquired a controlling interest in India-based engineered fabrication company Teknoflow, expanding its global manufacturing platform.
In a move to strengthen its global engineered products platform, Bridge Industries has announced the acquisition of a controlling interest in Teknoflow Green Equipments Private Limited, an India-based manufacturer of engineered fabrication and process equipment.
According to the press release, the partnership with Teknoflow's founding family will establish a manufacturing presence for Bridge Industries in India, complementing its existing operations in North America and Europe. Teknoflow is an established player in the Indian market, providing custom-engineered solutions for industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, and renewable energy.
'This acquisition represents an important milestone in Bridge Industries' strategy to expand our global manufacturing footprint and capabilities,' said Bridge Industries CEO John Thompson. 'Teknoflow's strong engineering expertise and localized production will enhance our ability to serve customers worldwide with high-quality, innovative products.'
The deal was facilitated through Bridge Industries' portfolio company, TransTech Group. TransTech's CEO, Sarah Goldstein, noted that the partnership with Teknoflow 'will unlock new growth opportunities and allow us to better support our global customer base from regional hubs.'
This move by Bridge Industries aligns with broader industry trends of manufacturers seeking to diversify their supply chains and production capabilities across different regions. The addition of Teknoflow's India-based facilities is expected to improve Bridge's responsiveness and competitiveness in key international markets.
