Flexsys Announces Insoluble Sulfur Price Increases Across Regions

By MGN EditorialMarch 17, 2026 at 01:14 PM

Flexsys, a leading chemical supplier, is raising prices for insoluble sulfur products in Asia, Europe, North America, and Latin America.

Flexsys, a major producer of insoluble sulfur, has announced regional price increases for its products effective March 23, 2026. According to a press release, the company will be raising prices as follows: - Asia: USD $0.60/kg - Europe: Euro €0.45/kg - North America: USD $0.40/kg - Latin America: USD $0.40/kg The price hikes are attributed to ongoing supply chain pressures and rising input costs. Insoluble sulfur is a key material used in the production of tires, rubber goods, and other industrial applications. 'The global supply-demand dynamics for insoluble sulfur have shifted, requiring us to adjust pricing to maintain our ability to reliably serve customers,' said Flexsys CEO Jane Wilkins. 'We remain committed to being a trusted partner to the maritime and industrial sectors.' This announcement comes as the maritime industry continues to navigate volatile commodity markets and inflationary headwinds. Shipping lines, ports, and other maritime businesses will need to factor these price increases into their procurement and operational planning for the coming year.
