Atlanta startup Freightro has launched a new payment platform to consolidate freight audit and payment processes for maritime and logistics companies.

Freightro, an Atlanta-based freight technology startup, has announced the launch of its new payment portal 'FreightroPay'. The platform aims to streamline the complex freight audit and payment processes that are common in the maritime and logistics industries. According to the company, FreightroPay consolidates all freight-related payments, invoices, and auditing into a single digital platform. This allows shippers, carriers, and other stakeholders to manage their transactions and financial data in one place, reducing the administrative burden and improving transparency. 'The maritime supply chain involves many different players - shippers, carriers, brokers, and more - each with their own invoicing and payment processes,' said Freightro CEO Jane Doe. 'FreightroPay gives our customers a unified system to handle all of that, saving time and money compared to more manual, siloed approaches.' The new portal integrates with existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and accounting systems, allowing companies to seamlessly migrate their freight payment workflows onto the Freightro platform. It also offers features like automated invoice matching, dispute resolution tools, and real-time reporting. Industry analysts say the launch of FreightroPay comes at a critical time for the maritime sector, which has faced significant disruption and financial pressures in recent years.
