Kaltra Offers Seasonal Discounts on Chiller Replacement Coils
By MGN Editorial•March 23, 2026 at 11:47 PM
Kaltra announces a discount program for replacement coils designed for popular chiller models to support maritime operators and service providers.
Kaltra, an Austria-based manufacturer of HVAC equipment, has introduced a seasonal discount program for replacement coils designed for air-cooled chillers made by Carrier, York, and Trane. The program is aimed at supporting maritime operators and service providers in addressing coil-related maintenance and repair needs.
According to the company's press release, the discounts will be available for a limited time to help industry players manage costs associated with chiller upkeep, a critical consideration for vessels, port facilities, and other maritime infrastructure. Kaltra notes that coil failures can disrupt operations and lead to expensive downtime if not addressed promptly.
'Our goal is to provide the maritime sector with cost-effective solutions to maintain their chiller systems and avoid unnecessary interruptions,' said Kaltra's sales director, Markus Weber. 'The seasonal program allows our customers to plan ahead and take advantage of the savings as they prepare their equipment for the upcoming season.'
The announcement comes as maritime operators continue to navigate supply chain challenges and economic uncertainty. Industry groups like BIMCO have highlighted the importance of proactive maintenance to keep vessels and port machinery running efficiently. Kaltra's discount offer could help alleviate some of the financial pressure faced by companies in this context.
